The rotary kiln belongs to construction
equipment. According to different materials, the rotary kiln can be divided
into cement kiln, metallurgy kiln and limestone kiln. It is mainly used in the
metallurgical industry steel plant iron ore magnetization roasting and
chromium, used to crush limestone, cement clinker, bauxite, active lime,
aluminum hydroxide, chrome ore, and other materials.
The rotary kiln is a cylindrical body with
a certain inclination, and the inclination is 3% to 3.5%. The rotation of the
kiln is used to promote the mixing of the material in the rotary kiln, and the
materials are mixed and contacted for the reaction. The kiln head coal
combustion produces a large amount of heat, and the heat is transmitted to the
material by means of flame radiation, convection of hot gas, and kiln brick.
The material moves forward in the kiln depending on the inclination of the kiln
cylinder and the rotation of the kiln.
The cylinder of the rotary kiln is made of high-quality killed steel plate, and the customer can flexibly control the axial movement of the cylinder.
The transmission rotates the cylinder at a required rotational speed through a ring gear provided in the middle of the cylinder.
The larger rotary kiln is equipped with an auxiliary transmission that rotates the cylinder at a very low speed to meet installation and maintenance needs.
In order to prevent cold air from entering and flue gas dust from overflowing the cylinder, reliable kiln tail and kiln head sealing devices are provided at the feeding end and the discharging end of the cylinder.
